Narragansett Bay & Navigation in O Scale

Share |

For the August Module spotlight, we take a look at one of the finest narrow gauge module layouts on tour in southern New England. The Narragansett bay Railway & Navigation in an On30 Free-Mo set up that depicts a freelance railroad set along the New England coast. The modules feature highly detailed scenes. The layout overall has a yard, lots of line side industries, and plenty of interesting mini-scenes that capture the area. Some of the photos show these unique scenes like the seaplane and boat hull under construction. Operators control trains using walk around throttles so they can follow their trains around the layout. The layout can be seen at shows around southern New England and was most recently set up as part of the 2009 National Train Show in Hartford, CT.-Modular Railroading Staff
